A new Iron Man movie means a new suit of armour, and the Mark VIII armour, which will be seen in Iron Man 3, has being unveiled at Comic-Con. It's quite a drastic change in colour, a paler shade of gold than we're used to, and the colour scheme bee swapped around. I'm on the fence about it to tell the truth. I'll have to wait and see it action, with an added sheen of movie magic, before I decide whether I like it or not.
There's no word on whether the Mark VIII will be the new standard (or even the much rumoured Extremis, a technological advancement Tony stores inside his body when he's not wearing it), or a one off like the Mark V suit case armour from Iron Man 2.
