Going down a very, very different route than his previous films Road Trip and The Hangover series, director Todd Philips has signed on to helm thriller Trust Your Eyes. Described as Rear Window meets Rain Man, the film is based on the book by Linwood Barclay, and follows a schizophrenic savant who witnesses a murder online. When he and his brother investigate, they are drawn into a vast and dangerous conspiracy.
Not much else is known about the project at this stage, but I'm intrigued to see how this one turns out, mainly down to Philip's being only known for doing comedies.
