DVDs for Christmas

It’s that time of the year again. The weather is cold, the days are dark and it’s time to hibernate with some good DVD. With so many new and exciting releases, it’d be rude not to. Christmas can be a stressful time for all; maybe a stress free evening of DVD watching will bring you some peace, forget about work and forget about studying, here is rundown of what’s available:

Of course, the almighty box sets have been released for a variety of much loved programmes, from Family Guy to Dallas, there’s something for everyone. For something a little different why not try out the US Inbetweeners, yes the Inbetweeners is that good, they took it stateside.  With an all American cast, it puts a huge twist on the UK series. Still featuring the struggles of adolescence, girls and terrible ‘mum jokes’, it’s sure to be just as popular as the original.

If comedy is what you are looking for, then you won’t be disappointed. With a huge number of comedy clowns releasing dvds, It’s going to be a tough decision picking who is at the top of your list. You can find a wide selection of DVD releases at Tesco, featuring all the favourites from Michael Mcintyre to Kevin Bridges, these dvds are packed full of jokes to keep you laughing for hours.

Looking for a little more action but still featuring some comedy? No, don’t worry, no suggestions of a Rom-Com is coming. But, how about - the Men in Black DVD box set, with the ever impending end to earth and aliens living amongst society, the top secret agents have their work cut out for them.  Featuring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, this comedy duo is perfect for the combination of action and comedy. Full of witty lines and amusing characters, it’s a great box set for a long weekend of lazing.
Theres never been a better excuse to forget about work or studying!
