With production set to begin next month in Detroit , Michael Bay’s Transformers 5 has unveiled it’s official tile, with Paramount pictures announcing that Transformers: The Last Knight set for release on June 23rd 2017. Following on from his introduction in Age of Extinction, Mark Wahlberg will be back in the role of Cade Yaeger, joined by newcomers Isabela Moner (Growing Up Fisher) as female lead Izabella and Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichaels, Bad Neighbours) in an unspecified leading role. Nothing else is known, so it’s anyone’s guess to what the story is this time round, but the title, and the fact his word is part of the logo, suggest Optimus Prime will be front and centre.
