Not content with being one of the best actors of his generation, Ryan Gosling is trying his hand at the whole writing and directing thing, making his directorial debut with How To catch A Monster. Starring Mad Men's Christina Hendricks in the lead role, the film is a modern day fairy tale, set in a strange vanishing city, about a mother who must protect her family when her teenage son discovers a secret road to an under water town. Shooting is set to commence in early 2013.
Gosling is a tremendous talent in front of the camera. Here's hoping he bring at least half that talent to behind the camera. I'm going to be keeping my eye on this one.
